During 2006 MRC began investment in a project studio to widen the scope of our services. This comprises of three acoustically-treated and networked rooms designed for the tasks of songwriting, production and tracking. A variety of equipment, along with an extensive collection of samples, loop libraries, VSTi instruments and other software enable us to compose, engineer and produce soundtracks, sound-to-picture clips, jingles, idents, EPs and albums.
The facility is primarily used to produce broadcast-ready tracks for placement to air both in the UK and USA. Despite extensive use, we do have periods of downtime that we can offer at highly competitive rates - please call for details.
It will come as no surprise to learn that the broadcast industry is heavily reliant on sophisticated sampling and sequencing to achieve quality sound within tight production budgets. What will come as a surprise is that MRC can offer non-commercial clients the same level of production at an incredibly affordable price.
We can sequence a wide variety of virtual instruments, sound textures and effects using Cubase or Logic supported by an extensive (400+Gb) collection of libraries, which include world-class samples from Vienna Symphonic Library, East-West, Zero-G plus many others.
Availability of a wide range of studio production tools and techniques coupled with location recording facilities, and a hefty list of talented session musicians, lyricists, arrangers and composers puts MRC in an enviable position when it comes to creative sound projects.
